As a Support Worker at UK Healthcare Support, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality domiciliary care services to our clients. Domiciliary care involves offering health care and supportive services within the comfort of the client's home. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with essential tasks and facilitating meaningful social activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Assistance with Household Tasks**:
- Provide support in cleaning, ensuring a clean and hygienic living environment for the client.
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure that clients have access to nutritious and balanced meals.
- Support with shopping for essentials and groceries as per the client's preferences and needs.
2. **Organising Physical, Leisure, and Social Activities**:
- Plan and engage clients in physical activities tailored to their abilities and interests.
- Arrange and accompany clients to social gatherings, day care services, or day care opportunities.
- Foster a welcoming environment for clients to interact, chat, and build meaningful connections.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach towards providing care and support.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, their families, and the wider care team.
